Happi 6

The Company

Just like you, the founders of Happi Group love playing lotto games.  After all, who doesn’t?  They’re the most popular games in the world played by billions of people every week.

But we weren’t satisfied with the way most lotto games work.  We didn’t like that you had no say over what charities or orgnaisations benefited.  We didn’t like that most of the prize money went to one big winner, and all the other winners were left fighting over scraps.  And most of all we didn’t like that there were so few winners.  Only 10% of players win in most lottos.

So we decided to launch our own version of a lotto game.  Except it isn’t a lotto at all.  It’s Happi 6.

And it’s much, much better.

Our history

Happi Group started in 2004 as the vision of our CEO, John Whibley, who put his own money on the line to develop the first version of the game you see today.

John moved from the UK to Malta and launched Happi Group.  Malta is one of the world’s biggest centres for remote gaming.  If you play bingo there’s a good chance the company that runs the website you use is based and licensed in Malta.

The first step was to obtain a Remote Gaming License, which after a lengthy application and vetting process we did.  Our Class 2 Remote Gaming License allows us to operate this website and sell tickets for the Happi 6 game over the Internet.

Since 2006 we have been running a version of the Happi 6 game with a limited, invitation only, trial membership in the UK, Ireland, Germany, the USA and, more recently, India and parts of Asia.  In those two-and-a-bit years we have paid out over £1 million in prizes and other bonuses.  We have had Top Prize winners in America, Germany and the UK.  The largest of these was a payout of over £100,000.

In December 2008 we launched the full version of the Happi 6 game to the wider public, concentrating on the UK and Ireland to begin with.
